Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and meticulous documentation practices throughout all operational processes. Develops, implements, and maintains compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity. Reviews and updates policies, procedures, and documentation to align with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of compliance measures across departments. Conducts regular audits and assessments to verify adherence to legal and regulatory obligations. Serves as a primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and provides guidance to ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Prepare technical dossiers, product specifications, and all necessary documentation to facilitate product registration and renewal processes with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

Ensure strict compliance of all food labels with NAFDAC Pre-Packaged Food Labeling regulations and SON guidelines.

Facilitate the readiness of the facility to undergo scheduled audits conducted by NAFDAC, SON, and local environmental health authorities.

Active registration with the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIST) or possession of a professional license from the Nigerian Institute of Certified Food Scientists and Technologists (Nicest), such as the Certified Food Scientist of Nigeria (CFSN) credential, is strongly preferred. Additionally, affiliation with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NIST) is highly regarded.
