RELOCATION: Employees will be based at the Lakota field office in Kofi State.

The position is initially offered for a one-year term, with the potential for renewal based on performance and organizational needs.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee a project with clearly defined objectives, deliverables, and timelines. This role requires meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to ensure successful completion within budget and schedule constraints. Key responsibilities include managing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and maintaining transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, possess strong leadership abilities, and exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively. Experience in [industry/field, if applicable] is preferred, along with a track record of delivering projects that meet or exceed performance standards.

The initiative will engage persons with disabilities, their family members, and various community stakeholders, alongside state and local government ministries, departments, and agencies, Civil Society Organizations—including Organization of People with Disabilities (Odds)—women and girls, Community Health Workers, and community members in Kofi State.

This initiative is designed to enhance the capabilities of Odds, CSOs, FBS, government stakeholders, and media outlets in Kofi State to interpret and enforce disability laws through a systematic, multi-sectoral, and Community-Based Inclusive Development strategy, thereby fostering greater awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.

Finance Officer: This individual will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key duties include budget preparation, financial reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The role requires proficiency in financial software, strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is mandatory, along with relevant professional certifications preferred. Experience in financial management, preferably within a corporate or governmental setting, is essential for success in this position.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial and accounting records for the project, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the associated systems.

Ensure strict adherence to the financial stipulations outlined in the contract to maintain regulatory compliance and contractual obligations.

Oversee the allocation of funds and track budgetary expenditures to ensure financial resources are utilized efficiently and in accordance with established guidelines.

Process all financial transactions related to scheduled activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in disbursements while adhering to established budgetary guidelines and approval protocols.

Represent the organization in finance and fund management meetings, serving as its official spokesperson and liaison.

Compile and deliver financial reports punctually in adherence to established schedules.

Handle all administrative duties with precision and efficiency, including managing correspondence, maintaining organized records, and ensuring seamless office operations. Coordinate schedules, prepare reports, and support executive staff by handling inquiries and facilitating communication. Proficiency in office software and strong organizational skills are essential, along with meticulous attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior administrative experience is preferred.

Responsible for overseeing the organization and maintenance of administrative documentation and filing systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of critical records.

Essential

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, along with a minimum of two years of professional experience following qualification, is required.

A professional credential, such as the ACA, CNA, or international equivalents like ARCA or CIA, would be highly beneficial.

Possesses a robust understanding of financial and accounting principles and practices.

Skilled in operating financial software solutions, including QuickBooks and Promise, with demonstrated proficiency in leveraging these tools for efficient financial management and reporting.

Proficient in utilizing advanced functionalities within Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, LOOKUP, macros, and complex data analysis tools, to deliver accurate and efficient solutions for data management and reporting needs.

Understanding of financial and tax regulations is required.

Proven expertise in analytical reasoning and quantitative analysis is required.

Maintains a strong ethical framework while effectively handling and safeguarding confidential information.
