Oversee the daily operations of both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. Direct the processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements while maintaining compliance with established accounting policies. Supervise the issuance of customer invoices, collection of payments, and reconciliation of accounts to optimize cash flow and financial reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, verify financial data, and support audit readiness.
Process and verify vendor and customer invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with established financial protocols.
Oversee the processing and submission of invoices while tracking and managing payment follow-ups to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
Conduct comprehensive reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier balances, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.
Maintain precise financial documentation and organized schedules to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Facilitate oversight of treasury operations and cash flow tracking to ensure financial stability and compliance with organizational policies.
Ensure adherence to established financial policies and internal control frameworks.
Draft and finalize accurate financial reports, perform detailed reconciliations of accounts, and conduct thorough aged analysis to assess outstanding balances.
Facilitate proactive communication and collaboration with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding financial topics to ensure alignment and clarity.
Facilitate and oversee audit procedures, ensuring compliance with established standards and contributing to accurate financial reporting initiatives.
As a candidate for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. You should demonstrate a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities efficiently. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards is also necessary.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, coupled with five to seven years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance, is required.
The completion of the ICAN qualification is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Experienced in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, adept at performing reconciliations, and well-versed in implementing and maintaining robust financial controls.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and accounting software systems, as well as advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel, is required.
Proven ability to analyze complex information, identify solutions, and manage tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in the oil and gas servicing sector is advantageous to candidates applying for this role.
