A seasoned and meticulous Senior Accounts Officer is being sought by our client to strengthen their finance team.
Oversee a wide range of critical tasks, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, resolve complex issues, and maintain high standards of performance. Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and timely delivery of results. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
Compile and validate financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established accounting standards.
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and maintenance of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulatory mandates.
Oversee financial tracking by monitoring budgets, expenditures, and liquidity to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational objectives.
Facilitate audits and assist in financial planning initiatives.
Leverage ERP systems to manage financial operations and generate reports.
We seek a highly organized professional with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficient technical knowledge in relevant software applications, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, is required. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, adaptability to changing priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
A minimum of five to seven years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance is required.
Expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and tax regulations is essential.
Having prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be beneficial.
Proven ability to interpret complex information and convey insights effectively, both verbally and in writing.
