Proforce Galaxies Limited, a pioneering enterprise committed to establishing leadership within Africa’s space and satellite sector, invites applications for the position of Communication Engineer to strengthen our expanding technical workforce.

Oversee critical operational duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental goals with organizational objectives, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth. Prepare comprehensive reports on performance metrics, financial outcomes, and strategic advancements for executive review.

Design, create, and deploy communication systems tailored for both space-based and ground-based platforms.

Responsibilities include the configuration and testing of RF, satellite, and wireless communication systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate communication subsystems into aerospace platforms.

Conduct comprehensive link budget assessments, execute signal processing tasks, and optimize communication protocols.

Observe and resolve issues affecting network performance and signal integrity through systematic analysis and corrective measures.

Verify adherence to applicable regulatory, safety, and quality assurance requirements to maintain compliance.

Investigate and suggest emerging communication technologies and structural frameworks to foster innovation.

Seeking strong proficiency in simulation tools including MATLAB, HESS, CST, or comparable software for signal and antenna design applications.

Proficiency in software-defined radio (SDR), IoT communication protocols, or 5G technologies is highly desirable.

Preferred qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in project management tools and techniques, and the ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments. Candidates should demonstrate experience in strategic planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. Familiarity with industry-specific software or platforms is a plus, as is a keen attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Proficient in satellite link design and VSAT systems, including their configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in the practical implementation of hardware integration and verification processes is essential.

Professional experience with low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks is required.

Demonstrates exceptional aptitude for analyzing complex information and resolving intricate challenges efficiently.
