Job Summary
We are in need of a meticulous and seasoned Accounts Supervisor to facilitate the efficient administration of the company’s accounting functions.
The successful candidate will maintain the precision, adherence to regulations, and punctual delivery of financial documentation.
Oversee a wide range of critical tasks encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational goals are achieved efficiently. Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of initiatives that drive innovation, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align departmental objectives with broader company priorities and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective measures as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards while maintaining transparency and integrity in all operations. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and fostering strong relationships to support collaborative problem-solving and decision-making.
Oversee daily accounting operations while maintaining precise financial documentation.
Compile and examine financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Verify adherence to corporate policies, regulatory mandates, and established accounting frameworks.
Facilitate audit processes and address audit-related inquiries promptly and accurately.
Provide support in budget preparation, expense management, and financial evaluation.
Execute all additional accounting responsibilities as directed by management, ensuring thorough attention to detail and adherence to established financial protocols.
A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience is required for this position, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities, are also necessary. Prior experience in a similar role and a proven track record of delivering results are highly preferred.
Higher National Diploma or Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting is required.
Professional certification, such as ICAN or ARCA, is highly advantageous.
Requires 3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally within a well-established organizational framework.
