Job Summary
Reporting directly to the plant manager, the ideal candidate will assume a leadership role in guiding the engineering function, which includes Mechanical Services, Machine Services, Cold End Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation, as well as safety and environmental responsibilities.
This multifaceted position within the Plant management team is responsible for fostering operational excellence, achieving profitability targets, meeting customer demands, and cultivating a strong culture of safety, quality, and sustainability throughout the facility.
Oversee a comprehensive range of operational duties, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives while fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices through consistent policy enforcement and risk management strategies. Serve as a key liaison between departments, stakeholders, and leadership to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of goals.
Directs and oversees the Engineering department to consistently achieve operational excellence in alignment with established performance benchmarks and profitability metrics.
Engineering strategies and maintenance plans are monitored and progress is reported, with trends compared against established objectives.
Develops a performance improvement culture by analyzing processes, systems, and standard operating procedures to ensure alignment with Group and regulatory standards.
