Overseeing the engineering team responsible for ensuring all capital projects meet technical specifications and statutory requirements.
Identify and resolve common valve issues, including leaks, mechanical failures, and wear-related problems.
Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and conditioning.
Support the assessment of valve performance while verifying compliance with customer specifications.
Assist in conducting standard valve evaluations, including leak detection, pressure assessments, and flow measurements to ensure operational integrity.
Assist in the ongoing maintenance and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.
Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD/MATLAB for data analysis, presentation development, and design tasks.
Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations is essential.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate at least three years of hands-on experience in the specified discipline. Proficiency with industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with the ability to analyze complex data sets efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail are required to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates should also exhibit a proactive mindset and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices within the industry is a must. Prior leadership or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory.
A Bachelor of Science degree, or its equivalent, in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering is required.
With a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management specifically within the oil and gas sector, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in these technical and operational domains.
