Job Summary
We are in search of a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to architect, deploy, and manage robust cloud infrastructure, streamline deployment workflows, and enhance system dependability.
The successful applicant must demonstrate extensive proficiency in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and security best practices.
Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on critical business decisions, overseeing the implementation of policies and initiatives to drive organizational growth and operational efficiency. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve key performance targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Serve as the primary liaison between departments and external stakeholders, facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and negotiating agreements to enhance collaboration and stakeholder satisfaction. Oversee budget planning and resource allocation, monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective measures as needed to optimize profitability and sustainability. Develop and execute long-term strategic plans, anticipating industry trends and market shifts to position the organization for future success.
Design and oversee secure cloud infrastructure, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.
Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines alongside Develops methodologies to streamline software delivery and fortify security protocols.
Leverage infrastructure-as-code solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable platforms to streamline and automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
Diligently oversee cloud infrastructures to ensure optimal performance, robust security measures, and consistent reliability at all times.
Oversee containerized infrastructure through the implementation and administration of Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
Develop and deploy Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks, alongside robust network security measures, encryption protocols, and stringent access control systems.
Provide assistance in managing incident response initiatives, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and performing detailed security audits.
Seasoned engineers will guide less experienced team members, while simultaneously fostering collaboration with diverse functional groups to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent discipline is required for this role.
Requires a minimum of seven years of professional experience in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or DevOps-related positions.
Proven expertise in utilizing AWS, Azure, or GCP with extensive hands-on experience is essential.
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation is required.
Proficiency in established security frameworks, including but not limited to NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001, is essential.
Seeking candidates with strong expertise in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting to support system automation and task execution.
Exceptional analytical abilities, adept problem-solving capabilities, and outstanding communication proficiency are essential for this role.
