Ensures precise and reliable ratings by meticulously evaluating and analyzing data, adhering to established standards and methodologies to maintain consistency and integrity in all assessments.
Conduct comprehensive fundamental credit assessments for a diverse portfolio encompassing Nigerian financial institutions, insurance companies, and corporate entities. Deliver your findings and insights to relevant committees for review and decision-making.
Acquire a comprehensive grasp of pertinent methodologies and demonstrate proficiency in their practical application.
Evaluate ongoing changes and maintain the reliability and predictive quality of ratings.
Effectively communicate with financial markets and issuers to facilitate clear and timely exchanges of information.
Forge and sustain strong, trusted connections with fixed-income investors, financial media representatives, and senior leadership at financial institutions.
Operate autonomously while collaborating with the broader analytical team to strengthen the Company’s Banking, Corporate, and Insurance franchise, with a primary focus on cultivating and expanding relationships with key external stakeholders.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably in a relevant industry. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is required, alongside strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. The ideal applicant will demonstrate experience in designing scalable systems, optimizing performance, and implementing robust testing frameworks. Excellent communication skills are necessary to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess an academic foundation comparable to a Bachelor of Science degree in a pertinent discipline.
A professional qualification from ACA or ARCA would be advantageous.
Proficient in both verbal and written English communication is required.
