Assess new customer credit applications, review financial documentation, and determine suitable credit limits.
Investigate invoice discrepancies, short payments, and billing disputes to facilitate resolution and ensure timely payments.
Account reconciliation involves accurately posting incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts within ERP systems.
Prepare and submit periodic aging reports, monitoring key collection performance indicators such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to support management’s decision-making processes.
Escalation responsibilities include executing collection protocols and promptly elevating delinquent accounts to the designated Team Lead for further action.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and executive team members to develop and oversee a comprehensive credit control system.
Develop and implement policies grounded in customer service excellence to guarantee timely payment submissions from customers.
Review customer credit reports to evaluate eligibility, determine whether to approve or decline applications, and promptly notify the relevant personnel of the final decisions.
Establish and finalize mutually acceptable payment arrangements with clients, tailoring loan terms and conditions to align with their financial circumstances and institutional guidelines.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records while performing systematic evaluations of the credit-control system. Identify opportunities for improvement and execute necessary modifications to minimize the incidence of bad debts.
Notify the Team Lead or the designated team regarding any discrepancies in payments for the assigned customer accounts.
