Role Description
A full-time, on-site position is available for a Medical Officer with surgical expertise, located in Abuja.
The Medical Officer will deliver holistic medical and surgical services, encompassing patient evaluations, diagnostic determinations, treatment planning, and the execution of minor and certain major surgical procedures within established scope and competency.
This position requires overseeing pre-operative and post-operative patient care, tracking patient recovery progress, and maintaining strict compliance with clinical guidelines and safety protocols.
The Medical Officer will collaborate extensively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical personnel, engage in ward rounds, and provide input during multidisciplinary case discussions.
Qualifications
Established expertise in Medicine, demonstrated through the capacity to evaluate, diagnose, and treat diverse medical conditions proficiently.

A medical degree, specifically an MBBS or equivalent qualification, from an accredited institution is required, along with full registration with the appropriate medical regulatory bodies.
Postgraduate training or certifications in surgery or closely related specialties would be advantageous.
Current applicants must possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or demonstrate a commitment to obtaining these credentials within a specified timeframe.
Proven capability to analyze complex challenges, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain exceptional organization in fast-paced clinical environments.
Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate shift work, weekend assignments, and on-call responsibilities as needed, alongside a dedication to ongoing professional growth and skill enhancement.
