Key Deliverables

Coordinate the efforts of Civil Engineering and Survey teams to guarantee timely completion and successful outcomes for all civil engineering and surveying projects.

Qualified personnel will perform supervision in strict accordance with established engineering standards and practices, conducting thorough physical inspections and reviewing plans and designs to confirm that all work aligns precisely with approved specifications.

Oversee and execute primary duties and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Formulate, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones, optimize resource allocation, and foster collaborative problem-solving. Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and proactively address gaps to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the department. Represent the organization in stakeholder engagements, maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. Mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to cultivate a high-performing workforce.

You will deliver civil works updates during monthly departmental meetings, emphasizing quality, adherence to schedules, and efficient execution.

By implementing strategic cost-saving measures, aim to achieve a minimum 15% reduction in operational expenses relative to the project budget.

Engage in thorough assessments of subcontractors’ performance and contractual agreements across all civil engineering and surveying disciplines, then compile and present detailed reports to the Civil and Survey Manager for review and approval.

Collaborate with the Engineering team to assess designs and drawings, confirming they meet functional and quality requirements.

Overseeing budget allocations and project resources while reporting directly to the Civil and Survey Manager.

Cultivate strong connections with stakeholders and external partners while ensuring consistent, timely feedback is provided.

Responsible parties must ensure that civil and survey equipment and tools are securely stored and properly maintained both during and after operations.

Prepare civil engineering and survey tender documentation in collaboration with the team, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards, before presenting the completed documents to the Civil/Survey Manager for final approval.

Liaise with contractors engaged in Oiler civil and survey projects to verify adherence to quality standards throughout project execution.

Maintaining regular communication with on-site Supervisors to monitor the status and availability of civil and survey equipment and instruments is essential.

During departmental monthly projects review meetings, you will present the status of all civil and survey equipment.

Ensuring adherence to rigorous standards in quality, health, safety, and environmental protocols is paramount. Implementing and maintaining robust systems to mitigate risks, enhance operational efficiency, and promote sustainable practices is essential. Compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices is required to safeguard personnel, assets, and the surrounding community. Regular audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives are necessary to uphold these critical standards.

CORE-registered with a valid registration number is required.

A minimum of fifteen years of specialized experience in civil engineering projects is required.

Proficiency in civil engineering and survey operations within the Oil and Gas sector, with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience, is required.
