Omni Fresh seeks to broaden its decentralized cold-storage infrastructure throughout Lagos and invites applications for the role of Business Development Manager, tasked with enhancing occupancy rates for our refrigerated and frozen storage facilities.
What you’ll do
The role involves sourcing and integrating manufacturers, distributors, and importers into the company’s supply chain. Responsibilities include evaluating potential partners, negotiating agreements, and ensuring smooth onboarding processes to meet operational and strategic objectives. Strong relationship-building and communication skills are essential to establish and maintain profitable partnerships while adhering to compliance and quality standards.
Obtain extended leases for pallet storage facilities to ensure sustained availability and operational continuity.
Develop and maintain a robust and expanding sales pipeline to drive revenue growth and ensure consistent business development opportunities.
Translate market data and trends into actionable strategies that drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.
Propel the acceptance and implementation of Omni Fresh’s innovative cold-storage solutions throughout the market.
What we’re looking for:
Experienced in creating and managing profitable business-to-business sales pipelines.
Accomplished commercial expertise and adept negotiation capabilities are essential, enabling effective deal-making and strategic partnerships.
Professionals with a proven track record in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), logistics, supply chain management, or closely related sectors are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with operational workflows, inventory control, distribution strategies, or demand planning within these fields is essential. Candidates should possess hands-on experience navigating the complexities of product flow, warehouse operations, or procurement processes to ensure seamless business continuity.
Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and skilled in leveraging data analytics to inform strategic decisions.
Results-oriented professional with a proven history of consistently finalizing sales agreements.
