Oversee and execute critical operational duties, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining high standards of efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and optimize resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.

Prospect and establish connections with potential clients spanning key sectors.

Develop and assess leads through proactive cold calling, strategic networking, leveraging referrals, and targeted digital outreach initiatives.

Organize and coordinate meetings and presentations for the business development team as required.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with clients and essential stakeholders to foster mutual trust and collaboration.

Proactively monitor and advance proposals, negotiations, and sales opportunities to ensure timely completion and conversion.

Perform comprehensive market research and continuously track industry developments to uncover potential new business ventures.

Accurately document and update records pertaining to prospects, leads, and sales-related actions to ensure comprehensive and precise documentation.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, or corporate finance is required. Proficiency in advanced Excel, financial modeling, and proficiency with ERP systems are essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data are critical. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to convey insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as familiarity with GAAP and regulatory compliance standards, is highly preferred.

A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) is required for this position.

Seeking candidates with 1–3 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or a closely related field.

Proficiency in sales within the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial sectors, or experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, will be viewed favorably.

Proven ability to communicate effectively, negotiate successfully, and manage relationships with professionalism and diplomacy.

Proven expertise in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and lead generation initiatives.
