Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Officer to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Compile, analyze, and validate financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and maintenance of accurate financial records.
Guarantee adherence to all applicable tax regulations and statutory obligations.
Oversee financial tracking by managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and analyzing cash flow to ensure fiscal stability and alignment with organizational goals.
Assist with audit processes and financial planning initiatives.
Leverage enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to facilitate financial management and generate comprehensive reports.
The successful candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, as is strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a proactive mindset, adaptability to change, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance protocols within the industry is also a must.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Professional rewriting:
A minimum of five to seven years of practical accounting or finance experience is required.
Demonstrates expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Proficiency in ERP systems is a valuable asset.
Proven ability to analyze complex situations effectively and articulate insights clearly to diverse audiences.
