A distinguished cashew manufacturing enterprise, boasting an extensive production infrastructure in Nigeria, is actively recruiting skilled and seasoned Shelling Machine Operators to fill immediate vacancies.

Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing project management, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Execute and monitor initiatives that drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and uphold high performance standards across departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources, streamline processes, and deliver measurable results in alignment with company goals. Serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and leadership to facilitate transparent communication, resolve challenges, and maintain a cohesive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations, identify skill gaps, and implement targeted development programs to enhance team capabilities and productivity. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.

Operate shelling machines by loading raw cashew nuts into the equipment and overseeing the shelling process to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.

Adjust machine parameters—such as speed, pressure, and blade spacing—to align with not size, ensuring optimal conditions that reduce kernel breakage.

Perform thorough quality inspections on shelled kernels to detect any instances of breakage, shell residue, or other potential defects.

Investigate and resolve minor equipment malfunctions, eliminate material blockages, conduct regular maintenance cleaning, and escalate significant technical faults to the appropriate maintenance department.

Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, goggles, and hearing protection, as mandated.

Ensure daily production targets are consistently met while maintaining low rates of kernel breakage.

Responsibilities include meticulously documenting machine runtime, production output, downtime, and maintenance activities to ensure precision in records.

Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of requirements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness across all project phases. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine business and technical needs, translating them into precise functional specifications. Analyzes and prioritizes requirements, identifying dependencies and potential risks to support informed decision-making. Tracks and manages requirement changes, maintaining traceability throughout the development lifecycle. Ensures all requirements align with business objectives and compliance standards, facilitating alignment between teams and stakeholders.

A minimum of two years of hands-on experience operating shelling machines or comparable production equipment within a manufacturing setting is required.

Proficient in evaluating and modifying machine parameters to optimize manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional precision and meticulousness in their work, ensuring high standards of quality are consistently maintained throughout all tasks and deliverables.

Capable of performing fundamental troubleshooting procedures and routine maintenance tasks for equipment.

Demonstrates a solid grasp of workplace health and safety regulations and protocols.

Required to work on-site in More-Ibafo, Gun State.

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 annually.
