We seek a seasoned professional to fill this critical position, responsible for overseeing key operations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position entails a full-time, on-site teaching role in Mathematics, situated in the city of Ibadan.

The Mathematics Teacher will design and instruct dynamic mathematics lessons that align with the school’s established curriculum and learning goals. Responsibilities involve developing comprehensive lesson plans, delivering instruction on diverse mathematical concepts, creating and evaluating assignments and assessments, and ensuring prompt feedback for students and their families.

This position requires adapting instructional strategies to accommodate varied learning requirements, ensuring precise documentation of student progress, and actively participating in curriculum evaluation and enhancement initiatives.

The educator will engage in staff meetings, attend professional development sessions, and participate in school events, all while fostering a classroom and school environment that is positive, secure, and inclusive.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development or systems administration. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Java, or C++, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are required to thrive in this collaborative environment. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions while adhering to best practices in coding and system design. Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or cybersecurity frameworks will be highly advantageous.

Proficient in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with a deep understanding of the subject and a demonstrated ability to effectively convey complex concepts. Committed to fostering learners’ problem-solving and analytical capabilities through engaging and impactful instruction.

Skilled in crafting structured lesson plans and comprehensive curriculum frameworks, with expertise in creating dynamic educational materials, effective assessments, and engaging content that fully adheres to established school standards.

Status as a certified educator, holding a valid teaching qualification and demonstrated classroom expertise, is essential, with preference given to those who have taught within an international or British curriculum setting.

A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related discipline is required, while possession of an education qualification or PGCE (or equivalent) is advantageous.

Candidates should possess prior teaching experience aligned with the English National Curriculum or comparable educational frameworks, along with a demonstrated understanding of blended or cross-curricular instructional methods.

Demonstrates exceptional ability to manage classrooms effectively, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to safeguarding students and fostering inclusive teaching methodologies.

Proficient in utilizing fundamental educational technology tools for effective lesson delivery, assessment, and communication with learners and their families.
