Job Summary

The Savings Sales Marketing Officer plays a pivotal role in driving deposit mobilization, onboarding new savings customers, and advancing the organization’s savings product portfolio to meet deposit growth targets.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties critical to the role’s success, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic initiatives that align with organizational objectives. Serve as a key contributor to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless communication between departments to drive project momentum and operational efficiency. Monitor and assess performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to refine processes and enhance productivity across the organization. Lead and mentor team members to cultivate a high-performing culture, encouraging professional growth and accountability through constructive feedback and targeted development opportunities. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and operational integrity.

Market savings and investment products encompass a range of financial solutions designed to help individuals grow and manage their wealth over time. These products typically include savings accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts (IRAs), mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and other investment vehicles tailored to meet diverse financial goals and risk tolerances. Professionals in this field must possess a strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory compliance, and client advisory services to effectively guide clients toward optimal investment strategies. Responsibilities often involve analyzing market trends, assessing client financial situations, recommending suitable products, and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards while maintaining a focus on delivering value and long-term financial security.

Develop and nurture lasting connections with customers to foster trust and long-term engagement.

Engage in the acquisition of deposits from both individual and corporate customers.

Achieve established deposit mobilization objectives within the designated timeframes.

Perform comprehensive market surveys to pinpoint viable business opportunities and gather critical industry insights.

Develop comprehensive reports focused on customer acquisition metrics and overall performance outcomes.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools and software is essential, and candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively in a team are also necessary. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Holders of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines such as Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or closely related fields are invited to apply.

A background demonstrating expertise in deposit mobilization or sales would be beneficial.

Exceptional ability to build and maintain professional networks and cultivate meaningful business relationships.

You demonstrate exceptional proficiency in conveying ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in written form, as well as delivering engaging and impactful presentations to diverse audiences.

Compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in a related industry. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring project deadlines are met. Additionally, the position demands strong analytical skills, proficiency in data-driven decision-making, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Candidates must also demonstrate expertise in budget management and a proven track record of driving operational efficiency.

Compensation is determined competitively, with consideration given to the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
