We are in search of a strategic and meticulously organized Sales Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our enterprise, encompassing mobile devices, phone accessories, and solar energy products.
A Sales Operations Manager in the mobile devices, accessories, and solar energy sectors is responsible for overseeing daily sales functions, supply chain processes, and performance controls. The role involves ensuring the seamless operation of wholesale and retail distribution channels, cultivating strong vendor partnerships, achieving revenue objectives, and enhancing customer service standards to bolster overall profitability.
Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity across assigned functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovative solutions. Maintain meticulous records, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders as required. Monitor performance metrics to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Adhere to industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Develop and implement strategies to oversee inventory levels and optimize supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of goods. Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses, analyze demand trends, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain timely replenishment. Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching inventory, while enforcing compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Maintain optimal inventory levels for high-velocity smartphones, tablets, and in-demand accessories such as chargers, cases, and screen guards, as well as Solar products, to avert stock-outs.
Responsibilities include managing procurement activities, facilitating customs clearance for imported goods, and ensuring secure warehousing and logistics operations.
Perform systematic stock audits on a recurring basis and develop strategic measures aimed at reducing losses from shrinkage, theft, and damage.
Sales & Retail Operations: Track and analyze sales performance metrics across all physical wholesale and retail store platforms to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Team Leads and floor sales personnel to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and performance targets.
Deliver outstanding customer experiences by conducting in-store product demonstrations and providing exceptional after-sales support.
Oversee the comprehensive warranty claim process from initiation to resolution, including device returns and repair management, as part of the Team Leadership & Administration function.
Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to retail staff, fostering their development of comprehensive product expertise and refined sales skills.
Oversee staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and incentive programs aligned with performance metrics across all company locations.
Responsible for managing daily cash reconciliations, overseeing petty cash administration, and preparing revenue reports.
Oversee financial allocations and analyze expenditures to uncover potential cost-saving measures that enhance profitability.
The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Scrum, is a plus. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines under pressure is critical. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory position is preferred but not mandatory.
Education: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or higher is strongly preferred for advanced roles. Relevant certifications, including PMP, CFA, or industry-specific credentials, may be advantageous. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, subject to managerial approval. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is beneficial. Continuous learning through workshops, seminars, or online courses is encouraged to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a comparable discipline is required.
With a minimum of five to ten years of escalating operational expertise, ideally within the retail, consumer electronics, or telecommunications sectors, candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of progressive responsibility.
Skills: Demonstrated expertise in supply chain logistics, coupled with adeptness in utilizing Accounting Software proficiently.
Demonstrated competencies include exceptional leadership skills, a data-driven approach to decision-making, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications—including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel—is an essential requirement for this position.
