Job Summary
The Field Agent is tasked with acquiring new customers, mobilizing savings, monitoring loans, managing collections, and fostering relationships in designated areas.
The position requires frequent on-site visits to customers’ residences, commercial establishments, markets, and local communities to facilitate account initiation, verify loan eligibility, track repayment progress, and foster business expansion.
The preferred candidate will exhibit reliability, a results-oriented mindset, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to thrive in extensive field-based work environments.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives forward. Develop and implement policies, processes, and best practices that enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards. Lead and mentor teams to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering professional growth. Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and propose data-driven solutions to optimize workflows and mitigate risks. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership, departments, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and project execution. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines while maintaining a focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility.
Proactively seek out and onboard new clients interested in savings and loan offerings to expand the customer base.
Open and process customer accounts while ensuring full compliance with established company policies and procedures.
To drive deposit growth, motivate customers to enhance their savings account balances through proactive engagement and strategic outreach.
Perform onsite evaluations to facilitate customer enrollment and confirm the authenticity of provided information.
Evaluate customers’ operational performance and financial stability to determine eligibility for loan disbursement.
Perform comprehensive verification exercises to validate addresses and confirm the reliability of guarantors.
Your responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the utilization and repayment performance of loans.
Monitor and ensure timely settlement of both current and delinquent loan payments.
Develop and execute targeted strategies to recover outstanding loan amounts from accounts that have fallen into delinquency.
Cultivate and nurture enduring connections with clients and key figures within the community.
Assist clients by providing detailed explanations of the diverse financial products and services offered.
Accurately document all customer interactions, collections, and field activities to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Compile comprehensive field reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to document activities, observations, and progress.
Achieve established goals for customer acquisition, savings mobilization, and loan recovery.

A Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of two to five years of relevant experience in roles such as Field Agent, Credit Officer, Loan Officer, Savings Mobilization Officer, or comparable positions.
Exceptional proficiency in communication and interpersonal interactions is essential.
Proven expertise in negotiation and debt recovery, with a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes in challenging financial scenarios.
Capable of working autonomously while consistently achieving established goals.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the local market landscape and operational dynamics.
Demonstrates familiarity with the core principles governing lending and savings operations.
Skilled in operating smartphones and digital data collection tools with a high degree of proficiency.
