Job Summary
This position ensures the successful implementation of road construction projects by overseeing technical execution, upholding quality standards, and maintaining engineering oversight throughout designated site segments.
The ideal candidate will oversee earthworks, subcase, base course, and asphalt operations, ensuring strict adherence to approved drawings, project specifications, and established quality standards.
You will collaborate extensively with the Project Manager, Surveyor, and QA/QC teams to verify precise setting-out, ensure proper implementation of works, and maintain timely reporting of site progress.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or B.Sc.) is required.
CORE registration, or current enrollment in the registration process, represents a distinct advantage for this position.
With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in road or civil infrastructure construction, candidates must demonstrate expertise in the field.
Seasoned professionals in earthworks, pavement construction, and asphalt paving operations with a proven track record of proficiency are sought. Ideal candidates will have extensive hands-on involvement in these areas, demonstrating a deep understanding of best practices and technical execution in each discipline.
Demonstrates a strong grasp of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) methodologies, along with expertise in conducting thorough site inspections.
Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and overseeing on-site implementation activities.
