Job Summary

We seek a meticulous and proactive Risk Officer to proactively identify, evaluate, oversee, and mitigate operational, financial, compliance, and business risks throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing internal control frameworks, maintaining adherence to regulatory standards, and facilitating business continuity efforts.

Oversee and execute critical operational duties to ensure seamless business performance, including managing daily workflows, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high standards of productivity. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve challenges, and foster a collaborative work environment. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while upholding accountability for results. Act as a liaison between departments to streamline communication, resolve conflicts, and drive cohesive decision-making across the organization.

Conduct thorough risk identification, assessment, and evaluation to proactively address potential threats to the organization’s operational continuity, financial stability, reputational integrity, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Design and execute comprehensive risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure organizational resilience and compliance.

Evaluate existing internal control systems and propose enhancements to reduce potential risks.

Perform regular evaluations of risks and develop comprehensive reports summarizing findings for executive oversight.

You must guarantee adherence to all relevant legal requirements, regulatory standards, and established internal guidelines.

Work collaboratively with various departments to assess potential risk exposures and execute appropriate corrective measures.

Conduct thorough examinations of risk incidents, control breaches, and operational failures, then propose strategic measures to mitigate such occurrences in the future.

Facilitate internal and external audit processes while expediting the resolution of identified audit findings.

Oversee the upkeep of risk registers and monitor the progress of risk mitigation strategies.

Deliver comprehensive risk awareness education and expert guidance to employees to ensure a thorough understanding of potential hazards and mitigation strategies.

Stay abreast of developing risks and evolving industry dynamics that could impact organizational functions.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three to four years of hands-on experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Finance, or Internal Control.

Highly preferred is prior experience within an audit firm.

Proficiency in finance and accounting roles would be advantageous.

Demonstrated proficiency in analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and investigative capabilities.

Possesses a solid grasp of risk management fundamentals, internal control frameworks, and applicable regulatory obligations.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Proven expertise in crafting detailed reports, delivering clear communication, and effectively managing stakeholder relationships.
