Main Functions

Assess and provide feedback on discipline engineering activities conducted internally and by Contractors and subcontractors to verify compliance with project specifications, organizational standards, and regulatory obligations.

The role involves overseeing the seamless implementation of discipline-specific engineering and design processes in accordance with established project goals, objectives, and protocols.

Ensures precise and prompt information exchange among the Project Team and other organizational departments regarding discipline engineering activities, progress, and challenges.

Additionally, candidates must exhibit strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal competencies alongside their technical expertise.

Responsibilities and Duties include overseeing assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Coordinates cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize productivity while maintaining clear communication channels. Conducts thorough research, analyzes data, and prepares comprehensive reports to support decision-making. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implements strategic initiatives accordingly. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

In addition to fulfilling all responsibilities outlined for Level 1, Level 2 encompasses the following enhanced duties and requirements.

Conduct or spearhead risk assessments, including consequence analyses such as toxic gas dispersion modeling, to evaluate potential hazards and their impacts.

Develop and maintain safety standards, procedures, instructions, and codes, formalizing them into documented company practices as necessary.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, supplemented by at least three years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with experience in software development methodologies and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with databases, version control systems, and agile development practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical information clearly.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Demonstrated expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) principles and practices is required for this role.

Proven track record in loss prevention initiatives, demonstrating expertise in identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets and reduce financial discrepancies.

Demonstrates a comprehensive and deep understanding of discipline-specific design standards, relevant specifications, applicable codes, and critical safety criteria.

Demonstrates exceptional adaptability in managing tight deadlines, navigating heavy workloads, and adjusting to shifting priorities with ease and efficiency.

Skilled in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English—particularly in technical and business contexts—is required.
