Job Summary

We require an accomplished and meticulous Hospital Billing Manager to supervise the hospital’s billing operations, revenue cycle procedures, and accounts receivable functions throughout the Group.

The chosen applicant will design and deploy standardized billing systems and processes to uphold consistency, efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory adherence across every facility.

Responsibilities include overseeing all billing operations within the hospital, encompassing patient billing, corporate invoicing, and HMO billing services, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial transactions.

Accurate creation, validation, and timely submission of invoices and claims must be ensured.

You will oversee and fine-tune the revenue cycle to enhance collections, decrease claim denials, and prevent revenue leakage.

Perform regular billing audits and compliance assessments to detect discrepancies, followed by the implementation of corrective measures as needed.

Responsible for aligning billing records across clinical, pharmacy, laboratory, and finance departments to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Diligently monitor claims that remain unresolved, invoices that are overdue, and accounts under dispute to facilitate timely and effective solutions.

Compile regular billing, collections, revenue, and performance reports for management evaluation.

Ensure adherence to healthcare billing standards, contractual obligations, regulatory mandates, and organizational policies.

Collaborate with HMO’s, corporate clients, and key stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries, reconcile accounts, and finalize settlements efficiently.

Evaluate and uncover potential enhancements in process optimization, automation integration, and operational streamlining specifically within the billing function.

Investigate billing discrepancies, patient complaints, claim rejections, and process deviations, and implement effective resolutions to address each issue comprehensively.

Assist with both internal and external audit processes by furnishing all necessary documentation upon request.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a comparable discipline is required.

Seeking a candidate with three to five years of specialized experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, or hospital accounts management, including at least two years in a leadership or supervisory position.

Proven track record in designing, deploying, and optimizing billing systems, alongside formulating and enforcing policies and performance frameworks.

Requires in-depth knowledge of HMO operations, claims management, healthcare billing protocols, and revenue cycle oversight.

Demonstrates strong competency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Excel, and other pertinent software applications.
