Job Summary:

Rayfield Medical Services Limited, a healthcare provider situated in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, is currently seeking a Cashier to manage financial transactions and ensure the meticulous maintenance of accurate records.

Responsibilities:

Accurately documenting and processing all financial transactions received from patients and clients is essential.

Perform daily reconciliation and balancing of cash registers to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Prepares and reviews precise transaction records along with comprehensive financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.

Prepares and distributes receipts and invoices in accordance with established requirements and schedules.

We are responsible for maintaining adherence to established financial policies and procedures within the hospital setting.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Candidates must possess at least three years of experience in software development, with proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and experience with Agile methodologies are highly desirable. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

A minimum of three years of experience in cashiering or billing roles is required. Healthcare industry experience is considered a plus.

Strong proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite is a fundamental requirement for this role.

Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and exceptional numerical precision.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional customer service remains essential.

Capable of maintaining flexible availability to accommodate rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, and professional certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma are highly advantageous.
