Perform accurate topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys to support construction projects.
Establish reference points, grids, and benchmarks in alignment with architectural and engineering drawings to ensure precise positioning and measurement.
Operate and maintain advanced surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS devices, and Auto Levels to ensure accurate data collection and equipment functionality.
Develop comprehensive survey reports, precise drawings, and organized data sheets with meticulous attention to detail.
Work in partnership with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to maintain consistency with the established design plans.
Ensure proper alignment in both vertical and horizontal planes throughout excavation, foundation installation, and structural construction phases.
Verify that all surveying tasks adhere to established safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
Ensure survey records remain precise and keep project databases current.
Requirement
A minimum of six to nine years of hands-on experience as a Land Surveyor, specifically within construction projects such as building or civil works, is required.
A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geoinformatics, Surveying, or a closely related discipline is required.
Demonstrates advanced expertise in operating Total Station and GPS equipment, along with proficient use of AutoCAD and survey-specific software applications.
CORE registration or affiliation with the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (IS) is highly desirable.
Proficient in interpreting and analyzing construction drawings and blueprints with precision and clarity.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in mathematics, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving techniques, with the ability to apply these skills effectively in diverse scenarios.
Demonstrates flexibility to maintain a full-time, in-person work schedule in Abuja, with potential travel to designated project sites as needed.
