Job Summary

We seek a skilled and innovative Content Creator and Videographer to enhance our Brand Marketing team based in Barri.

The ideal candidate will develop compelling visual content to effectively represent our brand, products, services, and marketing initiatives across both digital and traditional platforms.

The position demands a proactive creative expert capable of guiding projects from initial concept through to final delivery, encompassing content strategy, production, post-production, and distribution. Candidates should possess a refined sense of narrative, an awareness of evolving content trends, and a keen ability to captivate audiences.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project milestones, monitor progress, and address any deviations from planned timelines. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. Manage stakeholder expectations by providing timely updates, resolving conflicts, and aligning priorities with business goals. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold operational integrity.

Craft innovative concepts and content strategies that are fully aligned with the brand’s overarching goals and marketing initiatives.

Produce, capture, and refine compelling video and photo content for social media platforms, websites, marketing initiatives, and corporate messaging, ensuring delivery of high-quality assets.

Develop compelling short-form and long-form content tailored for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other pertinent digital channels.

Responsibilities include documenting corporate events, brand activations, promotional campaigns, and community outreach initiatives through comprehensive coverage.

Produce high-quality video content using advanced editing software, maintaining brand consistency and adhering to professional production standards.

Partner with the Brand Marketing team to implement content calendars and execute campaign strategies effectively.

Monitor industry trends, platform advancements, and innovative creative methodologies to ensure alignment with current best practices.

Oversee the administration and upkeep of digital content archives and production equipment to ensure systematic organization and operational efficiency.

Monitor content performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing engagement and expanding reach. Based on these insights, develop and present actionable recommendations to optimize content strategy and drive measurable improvements in audience interaction and content visibility.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Film Production, or a related discipline is required.

A minimum of two years of demonstrated expertise in content creation, videography, photography, and video editing is required.

A robust portfolio demonstrating prior experience in content creation and video production is essential.

A strong command of video editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut, or comparable software is required.

Possesses a solid grasp of current social media content trends and optimal strategies for each platform.

Proficiency in photography, lighting techniques, audio recording, and post-production workflows is required.

Exceptional interpersonal abilities, innovative thinking, and meticulous organization are essential.

Proven capability to work autonomously while effectively overseeing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.

Applicants must maintain residency within Warri or its immediate vicinity and be fully available to attend regular on-site duties as required.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, alongside strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and Agile practices is highly desirable. Exceptional communication abilities and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.

Proven track record in curating and overseeing engaging social media content for brands and businesses.

Proficiency in motion graphics, animation, and graphic design is required.

Skilled in documenting live events and generating content on the fly, with a strong ability to deliver updates promptly and accurately.

Proficient in analyzing content performance metrics and generating detailed performance reports.
