Job Summary

We are in search of a meticulous and analytical Reconciliation Associate to contribute to the organization’s financial control and operational precision objectives.

The ideal candidate will perform reconciliation tasks, detect discrepancies, maintain data integrity, and assist with adherence to internal controls and financial reporting standards.

The successful applicant will demonstrate robust problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to oversee and streamline multiple reconciliation processes with precision.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks, including the management of daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to organizational standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives designed to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive measurable improvements in performance metrics. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental objectives with broader company goals, ensuring cohesive integration and long-term success. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for optimization, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships to support organizational objectives.

Conduct routine account reconciliations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.

Examine and align financial transactions spanning various systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Conduct thorough reviews to identify discrepancies and facilitate prompt resolution through coordinated efforts.

Compile reconciliation reports and executive summaries for review.

Oversee the preparation and updating of reconciliation schedules alongside the associated supporting documentation.

Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of internal control frameworks and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards.

You will work closely with finance, operations, and external stakeholders to foster alignment and drive collaborative initiatives.

Prepare and organize materials for audits, ensuring all documentation requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

Evaluate workflows to uncover potential enhancements and propose strategic solutions to address inefficiencies.

Ensure adherence to established financial policies and procedures throughout all operations.

Properly elevate any unresolved reconciliation discrepancies through the appropriate channels.

Facilitate the completion of financial close processes at the conclusion of each month and fiscal year.

The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or engineering, along with a minimum of three years of experience in software development or a closely related role. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, as well as familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also required. Additionally, experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and DevOps practices is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.

Seeking candidates with at least one to three years of hands-on experience in reconciliation, accounting, finance operations, or audit.

Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of financial reporting and reconciliation methodologies.

Demonstrates exceptional skill in utilizing Microsoft Excel to its fullest capabilities.

Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software is considered a valuable asset.

Proven aptitude for analytical reasoning and complex problem resolution.

Maintains a strong commitment to integrity, precision, and meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.

Exceptional proficiency in communication and stakeholder management is required.
