Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and focused Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Officer to assist in establishing and upholding quality benchmarks across our automotive manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough product inspections, oversee production workflows, detect quality deviations, and verify adherence to both corporate and regulatory requirements.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align resources, streamline processes, and foster innovation, while maintaining a strong focus on achieving measurable results and continuous improvement. Serve as a key liaison between leadership and frontline staff, facilitating clear communication, resolving complex challenges, and driving accountability across all levels of the organization. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, lead initiatives to optimize workflows, leverage technology solutions, and cultivate a high-performance culture that supports employee engagement and retention.
Perform thorough examinations of incoming raw materials, individual components, and completed vehicles to verify adherence to established quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
Monitor production operations and detect any variances from predefined quality standards.
Conduct comprehensive quality tests and measurements by utilizing suitable inspection tools and equipment to ensure adherence to established standards.
Record inspection findings and generate quality documentation systematically.
Analyze product defects thoroughly and support root cause investigations as well as the implementation of corrective measures.
Ensure strict compliance with established company quality protocols, safety guidelines, and relevant industry regulations to uphold operational excellence and regulatory alignment.
Engage in internal quality audits and assist with external audit processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in operational standards.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to enhance product quality and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure meticulous maintenance of quality records and documentation to uphold precision and compliance standards.
Provide support in educating production staff on quality standards and optimal procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field is required, along with at least 3 years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, and familiarity with frameworks like Spring or Django is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions and possess a solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control and agile methodologies.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Automobile Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with at least two to three years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, ideally within the automotive manufacturing sector.
Proficient in quality inspection methodologies and quality management frameworks is required.
Proven ability to analyze complex information and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems.
Demonstrates a high degree of meticulousness and strong aptitude for maintaining structured workflows.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities are essential, with a proven capacity to engage effectively in team environments and communicate clearly across various levels of an organization.
Competency in utilizing Microsoft Office software suites is essential.
Professional certifications in quality management are highly advantageous.
