Job Summary
A meticulous and highly organized Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Officer is needed to uphold and enforce quality standards across all stages of our automotive manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will conduct thorough product inspections, oversee production processes, detect quality deficiencies, and uphold adherence to both company and industry-mandated standards.
Oversee the execution of core duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and team performance across assigned areas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, resolve challenges, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports on key metrics, progress, and areas requiring attention to senior leadership. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices while identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
Perform thorough evaluations of raw materials, components, and completed vehicles to verify adherence to established quality standards.
Your responsibilities include overseeing production processes and promptly detecting any deviations from the defined quality standards.
Conduct thorough quality assessments and precise measurements utilizing suitable inspection instruments and machinery.
Conduct thorough documentation of inspection outcomes and compile comprehensive quality reports.
Conduct thorough examinations of product defects, identifying underlying issues through detailed analysis and collaborating on the implementation of corrective measures to resolve problems efficiently.
Maintain strict compliance with established company quality protocols, safety mandates, and relevant industry regulations.
Engage in internal quality audits and assist with external audit processes as required.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to enhance product quality and streamline manufacturing processes.
Ensure the meticulous recording and upkeep of all quality-related documentation and data to maintain compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide support in educating production staff regarding quality standards and optimal methodologies.
Seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team, the ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
A relevant academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Automobile Engineering, or an equivalent field is required, evidenced by a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).
With a minimum of two to three years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, ideally within an automotive manufacturing setting, you will bring valuable expertise to this role.
Proficiency in quality inspection methodologies and quality management frameworks is essential.
Analytical acumen and the capacity for effective problem resolution are essential.
Consistently demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational proficiency.
Effective interpersonal communication and collaborative abilities are essential for this role, requiring clear articulation of ideas and seamless coordination with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required.
Professional certifications in quality management are highly beneficial.
