We are seeking a skilled QA/Software Tester for a communications technology company specializing in messaging services through WhatsApp, voice, and SMS, as well as a bill and utility payment platform. Collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders will be essential to maintain a robust, scalable, and high-performing software solution that adheres to industry standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Define the scope of testing, outline the testing approach, ensure traceability, and assess the feasibility of automation. Develop and implement a well-defined, efficient test strategy to ensure comprehensive coverage and effectiveness.

Design, develop, and oversee structured test cases, scenarios, checklists, and test suites to support both manual and automated testing initiatives. Additionally, establish and maintain comprehensive test data to ensure precise validation of system functionality.

Conduct comprehensive end-to-end, integration, regression, sanity, UAT, and performance testing using both manual and automated methodologies. Execute test cases following a prioritized testing sequence to ensure thorough validation.

Design systematic checklists to enhance the efficiency of test execution preparation processes.

Prepare, document, and track requirement issues in the issue log to ensure accurate recording and ongoing oversight.

Conduct thorough testing of products by executing user stories and evaluating the entire application—from the user interface to the back end. This encompasses assessing the application’s functionality, performance, and security to ensure comprehensive quality assurance.

Maintain and enhance automated test cases, scripts, and frameworks to ensure robust testing infrastructure. Integrate these automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.

Defect Management entails identifying, validating, logging, and tracking defects with precise descriptions and defined severity levels. Additionally, you will assess issues and gaps while proposing potential enhancements throughout testing activities.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of test strategies, test cases, results, and daily, status, and progress reports. Evaluate specifications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and suitability for automation.

Maintain and update automated test suites to ensure they remain accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with evolving product developments.

Collaborate effectively with development teams by reviewing requirements and design documentation, providing expert guidance on testing strategies and methodologies, and proactively identifying high-risk components and defect-prone areas.
