Job Summary
We are looking for a committed and skilled Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) to become part of our surgical healthcare team.
The successful applicant will provide essential support for patient care, aid in the execution of clinical procedures, and ensure the facility operates efficiently.
Oversee the execution of core duties that ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity while maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, streamline processes, and foster innovation. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Provide leadership and guidance to team members to drive accountability and achieve organizational objectives. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold accountability.
Deliver foundational patient care services and assist in the efficient execution of clinical procedures.
Responsibilities include observing patients closely and promptly documenting any alterations in their medical status for healthcare providers to review.
Support the delivery of comprehensive care for patients both before and after surgical procedures.
Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of patient information to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and facilitate effective treatment planning.
Maintain adherence to infection prevention and control protocols to safeguard health and safety standards.
Requirements
Possession of a valid CHEW certification alongside an active and current practicing license is required.
A minimum of one year of pertinent clinical practice is required.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in patient care and interpersonal communication, fostering trust and clarity in all interactions.
Proven capability to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure healthcare settings while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Proficiency in surgical environments would be particularly beneficial for this role.
