KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute Civic Education lessons that align with established curriculum standards.
Encourage students to embrace civic responsibility, uphold core values, and deepen their understanding of national identity.
Evaluate student performance and deliver insightful, actionable feedback to support their development.
Modify instructional approaches to accommodate the varied learning preferences and requirements of students.
Facilitate students’ readiness for WAEC examinations and internal assessments.
Demonstrate strong classroom leadership and ensure a well-organized, disciplined learning environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or business administration. A minimum of three years of professional experience in project management or a related role is essential. Proficiency with industry-standard software, including Microsoft Project, is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities are necessary. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also key qualifications. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and prior experience in a fast-paced environment are preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Civic Education, or an equivalent discipline is required.
A valid and current teaching certification may be mandatory for this position.
Excellent verbal communication abilities and effective classroom organization techniques are essential for this role.
Proficiency in inspiring and energizing students to participate actively and enthusiastically in the learning process is essential.
A TRCN certification serves as an additional asset.
