Key responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of tasks, including but not limited to overseeing project timelines, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Project Execution & Technical Guidance: Spearhead the delivery of projects while providing expert technical leadership to ensure successful outcomes.

Spearhead the implementation of solar hybrid projects ranging from 400 kW to 10 Map across the full project lifecycle, encompassing late-stage development, engineering, procurement, installation, rigorous testing and commissioning, provisional and final acceptance, and seamless project handover.

Oversee and assess EPC schedules to ensure they align with contractual milestones while fostering timely and budget-conscious project completion.

Oversee the seamless integration of EMS controllers, genets, photovoltaic systems, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to maintain reliable and optimal plant performance.

Responsibilities include evaluating and endorsing engineering designs, which encompass Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical, civil, and mechanical drawings, as-built documentation, and Bills of Quantities (Boys).

Assess and authorize roof structural modifications, as well as initial ground engineering tasks, such as geotechnical surveys, pull-out tests, and site preparation procedures.

Oversee the implementation of projects throughout the engineering, procurement, and construction stages, guaranteeing that critical milestones are achieved punctually and within allocated financial constraints.

Manage end-of-project tasks such as provisional acceptance, handover, and final acceptance to facilitate a seamless transition into operational phases while ensuring accurate and comprehensive close out documentation.

Contract & Stakeholder Management responsibilities include negotiating, finalizing, and overseeing the execution of contracts while ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. The role entails maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing their concerns, and facilitating clear communication to align expectations. Additionally, the position requires monitoring contract performance, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational interests. Proficiency in contract law, negotiation skills, and stakeholder engagement are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple agreements simultaneously.

Oversee the concluding stages of projects, encompassing provisional acceptance, handover, and final acceptance, to facilitate an uninterrupted transition into operations and meticulous close out documentation.

Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, Discos, OEMs, and regulatory authorities to uphold compliance standards and facilitate on-time project delivery.

Oversee the performance of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors and subcontractors to ensure alignment with cost targets, project schedules, and quality standards.

Provide assistance to commercial teams by examining contract schedules and technical annexes during the concluding phases of development and the subsequent award stages.

Project Controls & Quality Assurance: Responsible for implementing robust project monitoring systems to track progress, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to schedules while maintaining stringent quality standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce compliance with regulatory and organizational protocols. Conducts regular audits and performance evaluations to validate deliverables, minimize errors, and optimize resource utilization. Additionally, oversees documentation processes to guarantee accuracy and completeness in reporting for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Assist commercial teams by meticulously evaluating contract schedules and technical annexes in the critical phases of late-stage development and contract award.

Create and monitor comprehensive project timelines with advanced project management software such as MS Project, Smart sheets, and Gantt Project.

Develop comprehensive cost tracking systems, generate detailed reports, and create accurate forecasting tools.

Ensure adherence to all Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) standards during both the construction and commissioning phases.

Maintain rigorous adherence to USES standards across all project locations.

Perform comprehensive project evaluations to extract key insights and potential enhancements for future initiatives.

Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development or a related area. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++ is essential, as is familiarity with development frameworks and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are also necessary to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and advancements.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience is required.

With a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in project management within the power generation sector—specifically solar—as well as power distribution and/or large-scale commercial and industrial (C&I) engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.

Proven track record with at least three completed solar hybrid projects exceeding 3 Map, each integrating Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), encompassing full project lifecycle from initial design through to final commissioning.

Technical expertise encompassing EMS controllers, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and Genet integration is essential.

Proficient in analyzing and comprehending SLDs, as well as electrical, civil, and mechanical drawings, along with Bills of Quantities (Boys).

Registered under FEMSA Category A, holds active membership with USE, and is duly registered with CORE.
