In this position, you will serve as an advocate for BRIC’s interests, collaborating closely with team members to advance the company’s goals and objectives.
Performs comprehensive administrative duties within the office environment, which encompass managing telephone communications, developing and maintaining spreadsheets, compiling regular reports, handling email correspondence, and ensuring seamless operation of all office functions and processes.
You must respond to all emails from students, parents, university partners, management, or other inquirers within 24 hours of receipt. Additionally, you are expected to address telephone inquiries from these same groups within the same timeframe.
You will be responsible for promptly addressing all inquiries generated through active marketing initiatives or referred by the director, with the aim of converting them into completed applications and, ultimately, enrolling paying students.
You must thoroughly understand existing and upcoming courses or procedures at partner institutions to ensure accurate student advisement. Only accept applications from candidates who meet the necessary entry requirements for admission.
You are responsible for evaluating a student’s application and conducting thorough due diligence to confirm their eligibility for the institution’s entry requirements, their ability to pay the necessary deposit and fees upon enrollment, and to verify that their application and accompanying documents are authentic and free from forgery or fraud.
You will assist in organizing, coordinating, and executing open days, BRIC UK fairs, and exhibitions as needed.
As part of this role, you may be entrusted with representing BRIC to establish and nurture partnerships with the British Council in Nigeria, as well as with regional educational institutions.
You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all content and posts across BRIC’s social media platforms to support marketing initiatives.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of and proficiency in relevant technical and operational areas essential to the role. Demonstrates strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges effectively. Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate seamlessly with teams and stakeholders. Maintains a keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Shows adaptability and a willingness to learn new methodologies or technologies as required.
Proven ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently and maintain strong organizational systems. Capable of handling multiple responsibilities with precision and attention to detail while ensuring seamless workflows and adherence to deadlines.
Effective communication and customer service skills are required. You must possess strong interpersonal abilities to interact with clients and colleagues professionally. You will address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Excellence in written and verbal communication is essential to convey information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in higher education frameworks and admission protocols is required.
Proficient in utilizing Canva for social media management tasks.
Skilled in utilizing the full suite of Office 365 applications.
