Summary

We are actively recruiting a Procurement/Quantity Surveyor to enhance the operational efficiency of our affiliated companies, Tech Construction Group Ltd. and Aida Hills Ltd. The ideal applicant will:

Oversee project expenditures and uphold financial efficiency throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery. This position encompasses cost estimation, tendering, contract oversight, and supplier coordination to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints without compromising on quality standards.

Develop and implement procurement strategies aimed at optimizing costs, ensuring on-time material deliveries, and strictly adhering to project specifications without compromising quality standards.

Formulate comprehensive, forward-thinking strategies that effectively represent the interests of the organizations as a whole.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties to ensure smooth operations and adherence to established protocols. Manage the execution of key tasks with precision, including coordinating team activities, monitoring progress, and addressing any arising challenges. Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance overall productivity. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to track performance metrics and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to team members to foster professional growth and development.

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee procurement and tendering activities, ensuring efficient acquisition of goods and services while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with organizational policies. The ideal candidate will manage supplier negotiations, evaluate bids, and oversee contract finalization to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in procurement software are essential for success in this role. Additionally, the position requires excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes.

Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, encompassing strategic supplier identification, rigorous selection procedures, and effective negotiation of terms.

Draft comprehensive tender documentation, including bills of quantities (BOQ) and detailed rate analyses.

Conduct a thorough evaluation of technical specifications to support procurement activities.

Assess contractor and supplier proposals, ensuring they meet specified criteria. Additionally, monitor contract execution and verify adherence to compliance standards.

Responsibilities include authorizing significant procurement decisions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with established policies.

Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to prepare, evaluate, and oversee agreements with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Ensure adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory mandates to maintain organizational compliance and mitigate risk exposure.

Monitor project spending and deliver consistent financial updates to stakeholders.

Mitigate project financial risks, proactively identify potential threats, and develop cost-effective strategies that uphold quality standards.

Collaborate effectively with architects, accountants, engineers, and project managers to ensure procurement strategies are fully aligned with both design and construction objectives.

Deliver strategic financial analysis to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a closely related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with five to eight years of professional experience in construction or architectural firms.

We are seeking a professionally qualified Quantity Surveyor, preferably chartered, to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction cost management, financial planning, and contract administration, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on schedule. Responsibilities will include preparing detailed cost estimates, conducting feasibility studies, managing procurement processes, and overseeing tender documentation. Proficiency in industry-recognized software, such as cost management and BIM tools, is essential, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize value while mitigating financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

A candidate must be willing to travel as it is a crucial requirement for the position.

Possesses comprehensive expertise in construction materials and methodologies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

Demonstrated expertise in cost management tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Project, is essential for success in this role.

Skilled in evaluating data and negotiating terms for supplier oversight and procurement.

Interpreting both domestic and global procurement laws and standards is essential for this role.

Proven skills in effective communication and collaborative teamwork are essential.
