About the Role

We are in search of a conscientious, accountable, and meticulous Office Assistant / Cleaner to ensure the upkeep of a tidy, structured, and professional office atmosphere while delivering essential administrative and office support tasks.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational oversight, and performance management to ensure organizational alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions that drive efficiency and growth. Serve as a key liaison between senior leadership and staff, facilitating clear communication, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards. Monitor departmental performance through data analysis, KPI tracking, and regular reporting informing decision-making and optimize outcomes. Additionally, lead project initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks while mitigating risks and resolving challenges proactively.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces throughout the facility.

Maintain a consistently tidy and professional office setting at all times.

Regularly dust, sweep, mop, and disinfect office surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace.

Ensure office supplies and cleaning materials are consistently stocked and readily available as needed.

Provide beverages and snacks to attendees and employees as required during meetings.

Provide support for photocopying tasks, maintain organized filing systems, ensure timely delivery of documents, and perform other essential office duties as assigned.

Provide administrative assistance to the Admin Department in managing daily office functions and operations.

Promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or shortages encountered to ensure timely resolution.

Maintain compliance with hygiene protocols and ensure the correct disposal of waste materials.

Perform any additional tasks delegated by Management as needed.

The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with at least five years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are required to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration and reporting. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards is also expected to uphold organizational policies.

A minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) or West African Examinations Council (WAEC) qualification is required.

Relevant experience in office support, cleaning services, or comparable positions would be beneficial.

Effective communication and strong interpersonal abilities are essential.

Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the capacity to operate independently with minimal oversight.

Demonstrates exceptional standards of cleanliness, integrity, and dependability.

Maintaining high physical fitness levels along with a meticulous approach to detail is essential.
