Job Summary

We are in search of a proactive and technically adept Maintenance Manager to supervise the upkeep and repair of company facilities, equipment, and systems. The preferred candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, a solutions-focused mindset, and a dedication to maintaining safe and efficient operational standards.

Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and stakeholder management to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, compliance, and overall performance. Lead cross-functional teams by delegating responsibilities, fostering collaboration, and providing guidance to achieve collective goals. Monitor progress through regular assessments, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong relationships to support business continuity. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence within the team.

Develop and manage comprehensive schedules for both proactive maintenance initiatives and reactive repairs to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Oversee the work of both maintenance technicians and external contractors to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with established standards.

Ensure the optimal functioning of all facilities, equipment, and systems.

Oversee the upkeep of maintenance schedules, overseeing budgets, and managing inventory of spare parts.

Respond in a timely manner to maintenance issues and emergencies as they arise.

Maintain adherence to established health, safety, and operational protocols to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Requirements

A relevant technical qualification, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Demonstrated familiarity with the upkeep, operation, and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and buildings is required.

Skilled in efficiently managing tasks and resolving challenges with a structured and analytical approach.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to oversee a team and coordinate multiple concurrent projects effectively.

Experience in maintenance or technical fields is beneficial, though not mandatory.
