Operate and maintain advanced surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS units, and Auto Levels to ensure precise data collection and equipment functionality.
Compile comprehensive survey reports, technical drawings, and detailed data sheets.
Work jointly with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to maintain consistency with design plans.
Ensure all vertical and horizontal alignments are meticulously checked throughout excavation, foundation installation, and structural construction phases.
Conduct all surveying operations in accordance with established safety and quality protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Ensure survey records are maintained with precision and project databases are consistently updated.
Requirement
A minimum of six to nine years of hands-on experience as a Land Surveyor within the construction sector, specifically in building or civil works, is required.
Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. degree in Geoinformatics, Surveying, or a closely associated discipline is required.
Skilled in operating Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and specialized survey software with a high level of expertise.
CORE registration or affiliation with the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (IS) would be considered a valuable asset.
Proficient in analyzing and comprehending construction drawings and blueprints with precision and clarity.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in mathematics, analytical thinking, and complex problem-solving, ensuring effective resolution of intricate challenges.
