Operate, configure, and maintain CNC machinery to fabricate high-precision components in strict adherence to engineering specifications, established quality benchmarks, and predetermined production timelines.
Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to established standards. Lead project planning, coordination, and implementation, while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives. Accomplish the setup, programming, and operation of CNC machines in strict adherence to technical drawings and specifications.
Analyze blueprints, assess dimensions, and follow work instructions meticulously to ensure precise execution of tasks.
Observe machine operations to verify performance and make necessary modifications to maintain product quality standards.
Using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, examine completed components to ensure they meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
Conduct regular upkeep, sanitation, and diagnostic evaluations of machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Proactively detect and document any malfunctions, imperfections, or operational irregularities in machinery and production processes.
Oversee and accurately document production activities and maintain detailed logs of operations to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Guarantee adherence to quality benchmarks, health protocols, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
Drive ongoing enhancements to boost operational productivity and streamline processes through continuous improvement efforts.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role, along with proficiency in industry-standard software and tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with project management methodologies and adherence to deadlines are also required.
OND, technical certificate, trade test, or an equivalent qualification is required.
Candidates holding a CNC Machining certification will be given preference during the selection process.
A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines within a manufacturing setting is required.
