Perform transportation duties efficiently and reliably to ensure the safe and timely movement of goods and personnel. Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and route guidelines while documenting trip details, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Ensure proper loading and securing of cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit. Collaborate with dispatchers to optimize routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet operational demands. Report any vehicle malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety concerns immediately to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory transactions to facilitate efficient tracking and reporting. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize procurement activities and address any logistical challenges promptly. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies throughout all logistics operations.
Facilitate the dispatch and retrieval of official documents, supplies, and other materials as required.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is mandatory. A minimum of three years of direct experience in a comparable role is essential. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are expected. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards is a must. Prior leadership or mentorship experience is preferred.
A minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) or its equivalent is required.
Possession of a valid Nigerian driver’s license is required.
Minimum five to seven years of demonstrated driving experience, preferably in a corporate or commercial capacity.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the road networks and traffic dynamics across Lagos, ensuring efficient navigation and timely arrivals.
Possesses a fundamental comprehension of vehicle upkeep and safety inspections.
Working Conditions:
Possible assignments may include early morning, late evening, and weekend shifts.
Frequent travel within Lagos and occasional interstate journeys are required for this role.
