Overseeing a comprehensive range of critical tasks, the position entails managing key operational duties, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role demands meticulous attention to detail in monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and driving efficiency across processes. Additionally, the responsibilities encompass fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Perform on-site monitoring, gather plant data, and document any irregularities observed during inspections.
Responsibilities include managing the operation of pumps, compressors, reboilers, separators, and LPG/CNG loading stations.
Execute plan start-up and shutdown operations while adhering to Lockout/Ragout (LOT) protocols.
Operate fractionation towers, including euthanizes, deproteinizes, and debutantes, as well as their auxiliary systems.
Oversee and refine fractionation procedures remotely from the central control room to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Utilize gas chromatography data to ensure adherence to LPG product specifications consistently.
Provide assistance during emergency response operations to ensure timely and effective handling of critical situations.
A proven track record in a comparable role is essential, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are required, and candidates must demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools is preferred. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines is critical. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are also necessary. Professional certifications or advanced training in the field, while not mandatory, will be considered an asset.
A relevant academic qualification, such as an HND, B.Sc., or B.Eng. in Engineering or Physical Sciences, is required.
Membership in either the National Stock Exchange (USE) or the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is required.
CORE registration or another pertinent professional certification is required.
A minimum of ten years of directly relevant experience in a comparable facility is required.
Proficiency in HOP/HAMID training would be considered a valuable asset for this role.
