Job Summary
We are in search of a meticulous and proficient Machine Operator to oversee, regulate, and maintain production equipment, thereby ensuring optimal manufacturing performance and product integrity.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to align initiatives with company objectives, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflows. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity, quality, and compliance across all operations. Lead project management efforts, from inception to completion, by coordinating resources, managing timelines, and mitigating risks to achieve predetermined goals. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement by mentoring staff, evaluating performance, and recognizing achievements. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management and operational teams to communicate progress, address challenges, and recommend data-driven solutions for sustained growth.
Operate production machinery in strict compliance with established company protocols and mandated safety regulations.
Evaluate machine performance on an ongoing basis and implement required modifications to sustain optimal operational efficiency.
Perform regular inspections and carry out essential maintenance tasks on equipment.
Identify and communicate any machine faults, malfunctions, or production disruptions without delay.
To guarantee that all products adhere to established quality benchmarks and achieve planned production milestones.
Responsible for compiling and maintaining precise records and reports related to production activities.
Maintain a tidy workspace and comply strictly with all health and safety protocols.
Requirements
A minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test certification, or an equivalent credential is required.
Proven experience of 1 to 3 years in operating machinery within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing settings is required.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions effectively.
Capable of operating effectively across various shift schedules with minimal oversight required.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast dedication to maintaining safety standards.
