We are seeking a Procurement & Material Management Specialist responsible for overseeing 80% of our procurement and material management operations. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, tracking inventory levels, and implementing strategies to optimize supply chain performance. Additionally, the position requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals, assessing market trends, and mitigating supply chain risks. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in procurement software are essential for success in this role.

Procurement responsibilities involve sourcing and acquiring specialized raw materials such as PVC and polycarbonate sheets, microchips, magnetic stripes, holographic foils, and industrial packaging.

We are seeking a professional to oversee supplier relations, identifying and collaborating with global and local vendors to obtain advantageous pricing, ensure strict adherence to quality standards, and guarantee dependable delivery schedules.

Collaborate with production planners to sustain ideal inventory levels, thereby avoiding material shortages and minimizing excess stock-related costs.

Contract Negotiation: Spearhead discussions to finalize high-value purchase agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and bulk material discount arrangements.

Partner with quality control teams to resolve supplier defects, manage return processes, and evaluate vendor performance against established industry standards.

Duties in office administration encompass approximately one-fifth of the overall position, focusing on maintaining efficient operational workflows and supporting administrative functions within the organization.

Asset Management: Responsible for supervising the upkeep and monitoring of office equipment, facilities, and general operational utilities.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required. Professional certifications, such as those offered by the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CAPS), are considered advantageous.

A minimum of four to six years of experience in procurement is required, including at least three years within a manufacturing or production facility, with a preference for candidates from payment card, electronics, or printing industries.

Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems—including SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics—along with expertise in advanced inventory control models is required.

Exceptional negotiation abilities, analytical prowess, robust risk management expertise, and the capacity to perform effectively within stringent production schedules.
