The Senior Systems Developer is tasked with overseeing key operational areas, which encompass a range of critical duties and responsibilities, including:
Design, implement, and sustain application and data integrations across Christian Aid’s systems leveraging Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C, Power Automate, SKIS, and APIs.
Maintain and enhance Christian Aid’s application and integration architecture by identifying opportunities to automate processes, thereby improving reliability, performance, and data quality.
Develop and implement standardized best practices for system and data integration across applications, leveraging critical thinking to enhance existing solutions.
Monitor integration processes, address errors and job failures as they arise, and develop proactive enhancements to prevent future issues.
Conduct thorough examinations of system and data-related issues, perform detailed root cause analysis, and develop and execute corrective measures to mitigate recurrence.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot challenges and ensure the delivery of superior integration results.
Deliver expert technical counsel and support to colleagues and project teams, applying specialized knowledge to system design and implementation.
Create and update precise technical documentation while facilitating seamless service transitions into production environments as needed.
About you
You will leverage extensive hands-on expertise in designing and implementing solutions with Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform, further validated by a relevant professional certification. Your proficiency spans Dynamics customization and extension, data modeling, integrations and APIs, and SQL Server, complemented by robust experience in contemporary software engineering methodologies, including source control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD pipelines.
