We are in search of a seasoned Plant & Equipment Manager to spearhead our Plant & Equipment Business Unit, responsible for the strategic oversight of an extensive portfolio of heavy construction machinery that powers our key road and civil infrastructure initiatives.
This position represents a pivotal leadership opportunity, demanding accountability for the strategic oversight of fleet operations, comprehensive asset lifecycle management, the development of maintenance strategies, the coordination of equipment deployment, the enhancement of workshop performance, the pursuit of cost optimization initiatives, and the overall profitability of the business unit.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing fleet availability, optimizing asset utilization, and strengthening maintenance reliability. They will oversee equipment investments and lead both workshop and field operations, ensuring seamless project execution and adherence to operational excellence standards.
Requirements:
A Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely aligned field is required.
Registration with CORE is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Accumulating over 15 years of hands-on expertise in directing the operations of heavy construction machinery and equipment, you will oversee all aspects of plant management with precision and efficiency.
Accomplished professionals with a robust background in overseeing extensive equipment fleets for road construction, civil engineering initiatives, or infrastructure developments are encouraged to apply.
Seasoned professionals with extensive experience in fleet management, strategic maintenance planning, workshop operations, and comprehensive asset lifecycle management are sought after.
