Job Summary:
The organization is actively recruiting a Project Planner to oversee project scope definition, develop detailed work schedules, and calculate the necessary resources and associated costs required for successful project delivery.
Oversee and execute critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational success. Develop and implement comprehensive initiatives aligning with company objectives, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Lead teams through clear goal-setting, performance monitoring, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and accountability. We are responsible for the creation and management of Program of Work (POW) documents and schedules, ensuring accurate tracking and timely updates to maintain project alignment and efficiency.
Construct and oversee a comprehensive risk register to systematically identify, evaluate, and track potential risks. Ensure the register is regularly updated and integrated into organizational decision-making processes to mitigate adverse impacts.
Crafting thorough and meticulously detailed procurement strategies aligned with project timelines is essential to ensure seamless execution and resource availability.
Developing a comprehensive resource delivery plan for materials and equipment in alignment with the project timeline.
Responsibilities include compiling, recording, and monitoring action items during regular project meetings with all relevant stakeholders in attendance.
Delivering consistent support to the execution team by verifying that work is completed in alignment with established plans, ensuring that actual progress accurately mirrors intended milestones.
Consistent preparation and timely delivery of project performance and progress reports to the client, as specified, are required.
Conduct an examination of the work schedule to evaluate the influence of any changes or delays, then formulate and implement a mitigation strategy to minimize their impact on the overall timeline.
Refining existing workflows to enhance the efficacy of the Project Management Office (PMO) forms a key component of this role.
Maintain up-to-date Program Trackers, including those for Action Items, at the direction of program managers.
Performs various other duties as assigned, as needed.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree, ideally in engineering or quantity surveying, complemented by relevant professional experience and supported by applicable certification, is required.
Requires a minimum of one to two years of demonstrated expertise in project planning.
Experienced professional with extensive expertise in project execution, proficient in utilizing MS Project for seamless project management.
Proficient in utilizing scheduling software applications, including but not limited to Primavera and Microsoft Project.
Possesses a strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) work processes and their sequential execution.
Proficient in recognizing any discrepancies between actual performance and established standards.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strong commitment to precision and meticulous attention to detail, are essential for this role.
