Identify and cultivate new business-to-business opportunities within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, focusing on engaging key stakeholders such as procurement professionals and technical decision-makers.
Responsibilities include marketing pharmaceutical-grade raw materials—such as APIs, excipients, chemical intermediates, and formulation products—to manufacturers and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CMOS).
Oversee the expansion and maintenance of an established pharmaceutical industry client base, prioritizing exceptional customer satisfaction and fostering long-term repeat engagements.
Formulate and implement strategic sales plans for assigned territories that are fully aligned with organizational revenue goals and expansion targets.
Deliver product demonstrations and engage in technical dialogues with procurement officers, research and development teams, and quality assurance representatives at client organizations.
Negotiate pricing structures, supply arrangements, and contractual terms to ensure alignment with established company policies and profitability objectives.
Partner with supply chain, regulatory, and technical teams to guarantee products align with client specifications and regulatory standards.
Analyze market trends, assess competitor actions, and evaluate customer feedback to deliver strategic insights to senior leadership.
Maintain precise documentation of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasting projections through the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with three or more years of professional experience in software development. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in software design principles and system architecture. Candidates must demonstrate problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience with Agile methodologies are also required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related life sciences discipline is required.
With a minimum of four to six years of hands-on B2B sales expertise specifically within the pharmaceutical raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), or specialty chemicals sectors, candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong track record of success.
Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, encompassing the roles and integration of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, and chemical inputs in drug development and production.
Possesses a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), applicable regulatory requirements, and industry-specific quality standards pertaining to the procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials.
Proven track record in overseeing extended B2B sales cycles and effectively navigating complex purchasing decisions involving multiple stakeholders.
