RESPONSIBILITES
Collaborate with pertinent disciplines to establish quality planning initiatives before the initiation of works and provide ongoing support to ensure their successful implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure that all project activities rigorously adhere to approved Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (Its), and project specifications.
Oversee the evaluation, execution, and ongoing supervision of quality procedures, work instructions, and technical submittals to uphold project quality standards.
Ensure compliance of all construction activities with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory mandates.
Conduct thorough inspections of construction activities to verify adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and established workmanship benchmarks.
Monitor and oversee all on-site operations encompassing building construction, road development, earthworks, piling, concrete placement, reinforcement installation, structural assemblies, architectural finishing, and, where necessary, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
Review all incoming materials at the site to ensure they align with the approved submittals and meet the specified requirements.
Monitor and facilitate field and laboratory evaluations of construction materials to verify adherence to quality standards.
Diligently initiate, track, and resolve NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), site observations, and corrective action reports ensuring full compliance with established standards.
Ensure meticulous and systematic documentation of all inspections, test results, checklists, and quality records is maintained.
Perform comprehensive evaluations of project quality to verify adherence to established standards, and facilitate the prompt completion of corrective and preventive measures.
Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and testing laboratories to ensure alignment with project specifications and contractual obligations regarding quality standards.
Compile and deliver thorough QA/QC reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Evaluate shop drawings, RBIs, and material submittals to confirm adherence to project quality standards.
Draft inspection requests and liaise with consultants to ensure inspections are scheduled and completed promptly, thereby facilitating the approval process.
Verify that all testing and inspection equipment undergo regular calibration, and maintain current and accurate calibration records.
Ensure all quality assurance and quality control measures are carried out in strict adherence to HSE standards and established safe work practices.
